Do I need a visa to visit The maldives?
Most nationalities are granted a visa on arrival. However, you must carry all your holiday-related documents to present at immigration.
How can I arrange an early check-in if my flight arrives early?
We would be delighted to assist with your early arrival.
Early check-in can certainly be arranged subject to availability, and we recommend sharing your flight details with us at least three-days in advance so we can make the necessary preparations.
For complete peace of mind, reserving your villa from the night prior is also an option, ensuring immediate access upon arrival.
Please understand that if you provide us with your flight details at the last minute or there is a change in your flight or arrival timing schedule, we may not be able to get the best connection for you.
When and how are the seaplane transfers operated?
Seaplanes in Maldives only operate
- The seaplane to Nala Maldives is normally scheduled to depart within one to three hours of all guests clearing immigration and customs. In rare instances (e.g., international flight delays or extended baggage claim procedures), waiting times may be longer. Guests arriving on an international flight that cannot connect with the last seaplane of the day, which usually departs no later than 17:00hrs; check-in closes at 16:30hrs may choose to overnight at a city hotel or nearby resort.
- Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours between 06:00hrs –18:00hrs.
- Arrival transfers: Available for international flights arriving in the Maldives between 06:00hrs and 16:00hrs.

Are there any luggage restrictions?
The seaplane allowance for checked-in luggage is 20kg while carry-on luggage is 5kg per person, above which there will be an excess charge of USD 5.00 per kg, subject to 17% GST.
In exceptional circumstances, luggage may be transported on a later flight in accordance with safety regulations and TMA policies.
